August 12, 2011 - Arlington County Fair

The Arlington County Fair was in town this past weekend, so Maryann, Cassie, her sisters, and I decided to check it out. I hadn't been to one of those Arlington County Fair's since I was in elementary school, and it was surely a blast from the past.

We walked around a couple times, and when we got to the games, I convinced Maryann to play the balloon popping game with me. Luckily we both won. $5 for two darts though? Kind of a rip off.

Naturally, when we first got to the fair, I had to tweet about it. Kiko eventually saw my tweets and decided to meet up with us since he lived incredibly close to the fair grounds. When he met up with us, I convinced him to play the balloon game also! And of course, he won as well.

And what would a county fair be without any deep fried oreos?

So after the fair, I was pretty hungry, since I only had the fried oreos and a corn dog. Kiko, Maryann, and I made a quick run to Mario's Pizza. Pretty legit place. I haven't had it since high school, so I couldn't wait to eat the Philly Cheesesteak.

Friday was a pretty nostalgic night. I throughly enjoyed it.
